What you’ll do
Software Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain our complex software applications, ensuring high-quality code (Golang and Python) and adherence to best practices
- Play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software products by designing, building, evolving, and scaling state-of-the-art solutions for the Pindrop platform
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency
Deployment & Automation
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated deployment
- Automate the build, deployment, and configuration of cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment of applications in various environments (dev, staging, production)Participation in on-call rotation
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Utilize tools like Terraform (preferred), Ansible, or CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure as code
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, highly available, and secure
Cloud Management
- Deploy and manage cloud services, with proficiency in AWS,, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices in all stages of development and deployment, ensuring applications and infrastructure meet compliance standards.
- Maintain and manage SSL certificates, access control, and data encryption.
- Part of On-call rotation with night/weekend work required

Your skill-set
Technical Expertise
- 5-7+ years of experience in Development, DevOps or a related field
- Strong experience with Golang and Python
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github CI, etc
- Linux/Unix system internals expertice
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms (ideally both). Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (preferred), or other tools
- Experience operating production systems at scale
- A strong understanding of software design principles, software architecture and design patterns as well as software development best practices, including testing, version control, and continuous integration
Problem Solving
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and architectures
Soft Skills
- Telephony VoIP experience with SIP and RTP
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AWS or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration

What you’ll do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of software applications and systems. You will be responsible for leading and contributing to complex software projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior engineers. You will expand capabilities, bring new solutions to market. As a member of the MLOps team you will be responsible for systems which train models and produce predictions.
More specifically, you will:
- Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain our complex software applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software products by designing, building, evolving, and scaling state-of-the-art solutions for our Pindrop platform.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and the development team, including code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring.
- Architecture and Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex technical problems, and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Research and Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and programming languages and apply them where relevant to improve software development processes.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure software adheres to security standards and compliance requirements, addressing vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Design and implement cloud solutions, build MLOps on cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Build CI/CD pipelines orchestration by GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Circle CI, Airflow or similar tools
- Data science model review: run code and refactor, optimize, containerize, deploy, version, and monitor its quality
- Validate and add automated tests for Data Science models
- Work closely with a team of researchers and data scientists to productionize and document research innovations

- A strong understanding of software design principles, software architecture and design patterns as well as software development best practices, including testing, version control, and continuous integration
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
- Experience in monitoring and performance of Production platforms using tech stacks and tools such as Datadog, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus
- Participation in on-call rotation required
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and libraries such as XGBoost, SciKit-Learn, H2O, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Spark MLlib
- Experience with leading industry Machine Learning tools and operation frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Seldon Core, TFServing
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs

The base pay for this position is generally between $130,000 and $180,000. Please note that the base pay range is a general guideline only. Your skill-set
- 5-7 years of software development experience.
- Experience with designing and implementing highly scalable cloud based APIs.
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as Python and Go.
- Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms and Concurrency.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps practices towards deployment of SaaS services, including hands on experience with Jenkins, Github Actions, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as experience with managing and maintaining applications in a multi-container environment, such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of different Data Storage technologies such as Redis, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and maintaining services using AWS native products such as Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Linux Proficiency.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and systems. You will be responsible for contributing to complex software projects, providing technical expertise, and working with a team of talented engineers. You will expand capabilities, bring new solutions to market. As a member of the Core ISP (Integrated Services and PIN) platform team you will be responsible for systems which enable customer calls to be analyzed for risk and fraud.
Software Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain our complex software applications, ensuring high-quality code (Golang and Python) and adherence to best practices.
- Play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software products by designing, building, evolving, and scaling state-of-the-art solutions for the Pindrop platform.
- Be responsible for the operational excellence of our services through continual improvement projects, and participation in the on-call rotation.
Deployment & Automation
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated deployment.
- Automate the build, deployment, and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment of applications in various environments (dev, staging, production).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Utilize tools like Terraform (preferred), Ansible, or CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure as code.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, highly available, and secure.
Cloud Management
- Deploy and manage cloud services, with proficiency in AWS,, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices in all stages of development and deployment, ensuring applications and infrastructure meet compliance standards.
- Maintain and manage SSL certificates, access control, and data encryption.
- Part of On-call rotation with night/weekend work required

Your skill-set
Technical Expertise
- 8-10+ years of experience in Development, DevOps or a related field
- Strong experience with Golang and Python
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github CI, etc
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms (ideally both).Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (preferred), or other tools
- Experience operating production systems at scale
Problem Solving
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and architectures
Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Your skill-set
- 2+ years experience as a manager of software engineering teams
- 5-8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering highly scalable, fast performing API-based products.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to influence Product requirements and roadmap, and contribute to design documentation
- Proven track record of successful and timely product delivery
- Experience developing services in AWS or similar
- Strong collaboration & proven success in partnering with stakeholders
- Scrum/Agile methodologies knowledge
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience with Python and/or Go and SQL/NoSQL databases

The base pay for this position is generally between $185,000 and $210,000. Please note that the base pay range is a general guideline only. Pindrop considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills, as well as market and business considerations, when extending an offer.
