This week in phone fraud news, Pindrop Security partnered with Contact Solutions and IDology and the Atlanta Business Chronicle warns of the top 10 phone scams.

On Thursday, TMCnet reported that Contact Solutions, IDology and Pindrop Security have partnered to create Adaptive Fraud Protection. This new offering provides a multi-layered, proactive fraud management solution for Contact Solutions’ host IVR service.

On Monday, Phil Hudson of Atlanta Business Chronicle discussed a recent Pindrop research study on the top 10 phone scams of 2014. He wrote, “18.5 percent of phone scam complaints were related to scams offering victims reduced interest rates on credit card accounts, 60 percent of all phone scam complaints involve fraudsters impersonating a financial or government institution.”
