Welcoming Voice Comes With Hurdles | Technological and Generational
As the conversational economy grows and intertwines within businesses, it…
Pindrop had a great week. We participated in VentureAtlanta for the second time. Last year, we were there as an “Early Stage” company, which is a company looking for seed funding. That turned out well. This year, we were in the “Venture Spotlight” category. It was a great opportunity to meet with technology leaders, potential customers and investors. And having the Georgia Aquarium’s Beluga Whale’s as a backdrop is a real treat.
In addition, our CEO, Vijay Balasubramaniyan, had the opportunity to participate in the Federal Trade Commission’s Robocall Summit in Washington, DC. We also updated our Phone Fraud Report data – we’re up to 1.65m fraud complaints this year. Looks like we’ll be over 2m by the end for the year – the fraudsters keep ramping the volume.
Next week, part of the team will be on the West Coast meeting with current and potential customers as well as investors. We’ll also have a group in Virginia for the FS-ISAC Fall Summit. I (Matt Anthony) will be on a panel discussing “Mobile, phone and online fraud detection and prevention”. If you will be in any of those places, drop us a line and let’s get together.
Onward and upward!
