ATLANTA – Oct. 21, 2015 – Pindrop Security, the leading provider of call center authentication and anti-fraud solutions for enterprise call centers, today announced that it has been awarded the 2015 Association of University Research Parks (AURP) Innovation Award, which recognizes university research park companies that have produced substantial and meaningful products or services. Pindrop is receiving this award for its Fraud Detection System (FDS) that protects enterprise call centers from fraud. Now in use by the top financial services, retail and insurance companies in the U.S., Pindrop Security’s technology stood out to AURP for its ability to reduce call center operational cost by more than 50 percent.

The technology behind Pindrop Security was developed by Balasubramaniyan as part of his doctoral thesis while a student in the Georgia Tech Information Security Center. The company has had the benefit of working with the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), one of Atlanta’s most prominent technology incubators during the early stages of its growth.
