TWIPF2 This week in phone fraud, YouMail reports 2.3 Billion robocalls were made to US citizens in February and Pindrop’s VP and General Manager of EMEA, Matt Peachey, discusses cross-channel fraud.

This week, Yahoo Finance reported that although most robocalls are illegal, they show no signs of slowing down. Research from YouMail states 2.3 Billion calls were made by computerized auto dialers in February. Atlanta is the top robocalled city in the U.S. followed by Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles.

Matt Peachey of Pindrop wrote for, Real Business stating that over the past decade, organizations have stepped up their defenses against criminal activity. With a commitment to protecting customers and their data, businesses are increasingly improving this line of defense as cyber attacks grow more sophisticated.
